Mark Adkins Kaye's only sister and best friend!
Mark Adkins We met out to have coffee as we often did. I wasn’t happy that I never got a Christmas card or present because I had told her earlier I don’t like Christmas presents I like to be good to people all year. I was telling the truth but I’m a jealous brother and I resented her boyfriend‘s family occupying every holiday and not even acknowledging her family are her feelings that she might want to spend time with her own family. She did care for his family and enjoy time with them but she also resented her family being excluded. We were together more than anyone knew because we would meet out and I would go to her house when no one was there. We will try to plant flowers and play around with eBay and sometimes watch church on the television. As you can see from this video she had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Mark Adkins Monica’s dog Booters (Boo) Even when she wasn’t able she would take her little dog to the groomers and to the veterinarian she loved him very much and grieved for him when he died.
Mark Adkins I called her Kaye because that is the name she went by when she grew up In West Virginia. When she left her husband Clyde Junior Watkins she wanted a fresh start so she preferred to go by Monica. My sister Kaye endured a lot of pain in her life and yet she never lost her ability to laugh. I believe people liked her, because when she would apply for jobs she always got the job she applied for. She had an innate friendliness and genuinely wanted to be good to people. I always thought she was better to people than what they actually deserved.
Mark Adkins This was just a few days before Kaye died prematurely. I will miss her very much.
Mark Adkins My sister was full of faith and she was one of the strongest people I ever knew. I could not have lived her life and made it as far as she did. I know she is in heaven I know she was a believer and I know I will always miss her and love her. Mark Adkins
Mark Adkins It’s hard to imagine Me without you we have been together our whole life but now you are with Connie and I know you both are in Heaven and I hope to join you someday so we can all finally at last be happy.
