Tim Weidman https://youtu.be/Frj2CLGldC4 Mike loved Bob Dylan, definitely his favorite artist. Of all of Dylan's songs, the one that typified the way Mike lived his life is "Forever Young", give it a listen and think of Mike!
Mary Egan We went to Disneyland as a family. Michael and Trish bought false faces and glasses.People took pictures of them. I was embarrassed that they would do this.

Mary Egan This photo is of Joey , Gregg and Michael. It might have been taken at Rehoboth
Mary Egan This Photo is from about 1994 at Rehoboth beach Delaware. Dad thought family vacations were important. This is probably the last family trip before Dad died in 1995.
Mary Egan This photo is Patricia, Mom and Michael. It is probable Christmas 1995, the year Dad died and was probably taken at Gregg and Cathy’s.
Mary Egan Michael loved to ski.,I think this is from a group trip. I think his love of skiing goes back to our love of sledding when we were young.

Tim Weidman So you are wondering why a picture of boxes, Michael, Ashley and Jen will know why, except these boxes are dry. One nite at Rehoboth, the 4 of us decided to go out for a drink. After the first bar it started to rain very hard. We had no umbrella's, but we noticed a pile of boxes nearby. Someone (I think me) said, lets put the boxes on our heads and run to the next bar, which we did. We parked the boxes, then wore them again and ran to another bar. After this bar they were soggy so we had to trade them in for another set, which we fortunately found. Of course we all competed to each have the most stylish box. I am sure Mike won that contest! None were Amazon back then.

Clement S This photo was taken at a rooftop restaurant at the Sofitel Hotel in Washington DC, which had a great view overlooking the White House. Ashley had joined Clement and me on a visit to DC before going to Rehoboth Beach. We stayed in a cabin on a civil war battlefield and spent two days in DC. This was the first time we met Carlos, Mike's BF, and it was Carlo's 1st trip to Rehoboth. in typical Weidman practice I am sure we totally overwhelmed him! Mike and Carlo are both sporting nice tans. We had a great lunch and fun day touring around DC. Tim
Clement S With Carlos at Cape Henlopen State Park. I think Mike may have been showing Carlo's how to navigate his way thru a week with the Weidmans!
Mary Egan A Rehoboth beach picture of the five of us.
Clement S Probably our first evening at Rehoboth. Very surprised to see empty wine glasses!
Mary Egan This is Michael and Jen and was taken from the roof deck of Gregg and Cathy’s Rehoboth rental. It might have been taken the summer of 2013.
Clement S One more Rehoboth Beach trip. I believe it was the last one for Gregg. Rehoboth was always a very special time for us all. We will always have the great memories.
Mary Egan This is the last picture of the 4 of us before Gregg passed. Michael would come home for the beach and for Christmas.
Tim Weidman One of the very special things Mike always did was to create a birthday card for each of us using a picture he had saved. This was my birthday in 2014 and the picture was from my recent visit to his house. We were face timing with Clement since I was just off a plane returning from Asia.
Tim Weidman Mike and I visited Gettysburg in January 2014 while awaiting Gregg's funeral. We had an enjoyable day in the midst of a very sad time. We talked a lot about being the only two brothers left that day. We became even closer then and I am really sad he is gone.
Patricia Weidman When Michael visited me in Frackville PA, he observed the architecture of the neighborhood and the cultural influence of the Polish and Slavish cultures.

Mary Egan This was taken in NYC. Mike loved to take selfie’s and had a long arm so he could do it easily.I think this was in front of the NewYork public library
Tim Weidman This was Christmas in 2017 at Mary and Reg's house. It was the first time Clement and I had the chance to enjoy the holidays in Pa. We all had a great time and I recall trying to talk Mike into sharing the train book Mary had given me, but he was being selfish and only let me look at it for 5 minutes!
Tim Weidman This is one of my favoite pictures of Michael. Mike and Trish visited us in January 2018. We had a great visit, enjoying BBQ, Microbrews and local restaurants. That donut I snuck a bite of was great also!
Tim Weidman Mike was a great older brother for me. He took me on trips to the Jersey beach, Civil War battlefields and many other places when I was young. I visited him in LA when I made a transfer enroute to Asia for business trips. If time was short it was sandwiches on the beach or a drink in a nearby restaurant. A few times it was over nite at his house, listening to rock and roll. I treasured those visits every time. He gave the best hugs, almost cracked my ribs! I miss him very much!
Tim Weidman During the last trip we made to Rehoboth, we all piled into the Jeep Grand Cherokee I rented and went out to Cape Henlopen. We sat on a bench with the beach to our backs and Clement set up this picture with a timer. It was a great day and remains a great memory.
Tim Weidman This picture was taken at Rehoboth Beach in 2018. We were brousing in a book store on the main street and Clement happened to stop by with his camera. Mike loved his trips to Rehoboth so much!
Patricia Weidman Patricia and Michael
Tim Weidman Mike loved our pet rabbit, Thumper when we were young in Altoona, then later his yellow canary in LA. He was not so much of a dog person and was perplexed that our French Bulldog, Mimi followed him everywhere when staying with us. As you can see he came to really like her and was very happy when she sat on his lap. She misses Mike too!
Mary Egan This photo was taken after Christmas. We used to do day trips on December 26th. We were at the Hershey Hotel.
Tim Weidman My friend at work makes clocks by laser cutting images of famous musicians out of their albums. He made this one for me of Bob Dylan, which I gave to Mike the last time I visited his house. He really loved it!
Tim Weidman Michael loved his trains. This passion began as a child, our father worked for the Pa railroad, Mike and Mary regularly rode a train to school in Wayne, Pa, and also into Philly. We all took train trips to Fond du Lac, Wisc to visit Trish. Our Dad bought HO trains and set up a platform in our basement every year at Xmas. We bought model buildings, put them together, had matchbox cars and trucks, trees, bushes, gravel roads and even plastic people. Mike made a papermache tunnel he was very proud of. He carried on this tradition; model trains became his main hobby. When I visited, I would tell him the matchbox cars were ones I had bought and threatened to put them in my suitcase when he was not looking!
One of Michael's favorite songs Let It Be When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be Let it be, let it be Let it be, let it be Whisper words of wisdom, let it be And when the broken hearted ...
Tim Weidman This Xmas was sad for me because it was full of memories of the past two Xmas's when Michael visited us in Austin. We decorated our guest room to make him feel very welcome and had a special stocking made for him. To honor his memory every Xmas we will hang his stocking by our fireplace. He was such a joy to have at holidays!
