Passed too early surrounded by his family at the SAN Hospital on July 7, 2016. Aged 56 years Loving husband of Mireille Touma. Amazing father to Isabelle Townsend (Touma), Magali Russo (Touma), Carolin MacDonald (Touma), Tara Tarabay (Touma). Fun loving Pops to Tahlia Townsend, Ella Townsend, Soleil Russo, Michael Tarabay, Maya Townsend, Mary Tarabay, Anthony Tarabay, Callum MacDonald, and Madison MacDonald. Brother to Sue Tarabay (dec.), Leila Khouri, Sally Chedrawe, Connie Tarabay, Danny Touma, Simon Touma, Tom Touma. Son of Joseph and Mary Touma (dec.). Michael was a charismatic person that left an impact on everyone he met. Those of us fortunate enough to fall under his love knew that we would always be protected and cared for. Michael took pleasure in intellectual pursuits, starting BBX in 1993 from humble beginnings in Adelaide, South Australia. Michael, Mireille, and family steered the BBX platform through fundamental and sometimes rapid changes, preparing for global expansion that has only just begun. Along the way he became a prolific mentor, donated millions to charity, and touched the lives of many in the business community. Michael's exuberance, drive, and love will continue to be felt by all who knew him. We will miss his strong presence in our everyday life, but his legacy will continue to thrive as he taught us all to be strong and face life head on.
