Family and friends
Michael Ferguson Balleau, affectionately known as Mick, was born February 10, 1984. Mick was the youngest of three siblings. His brother Will, sister Kate, and father Pete, miss him. Adrienne, Mick's mother, welcomed him home to the heavens with a glass of warm milk and honey and a soul soothing hug.

Kate Balleau Mick Balleau was born at Presbyterian hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His brother Will was 4-years-old and sister Kate was 6-years-old when he arrived February 10th, 1984. Mick came home to a two-bedroom, two-story, home on few acres in Bosque Farms, New Mexico, which his parents Adrienne and Peter had built four years earlier. There was a large, shaggy, black dog, Subi, a couple motorcycles, grandparents, uncles and aunties, books, toys, and an abundance of love waiting eagerly for Mick to arrive. Mick attended Bosque Farms Elementary, St. Mary's, St. Pius High School, and graduated with a dual major Geography and Spanish from UNM.

Leah Wieneke As I remember it, these were our chosen get ups for the music video we were shooting for Tiffany's classic, I think we're alone now. I've seen photos on social media of Mick waving around a similar (but probably real) gun and ask, "which Mick wore it best?"

Mickey's catch phrase "But how?" is the question for life. His constant answer was "with laughter and the wind".
I stand here and wait for my friend; I wait for his last farewell. I long, O friend, by your side To enjoy the beauty of this evening. Where are you? You leave me alone for a long time! --Die Abschied _ The Farewell Mahler
