Mia was born Karen Marie Karlsen in Oslo, Norway. Her mother was mother KItty and her father was Ernst. She also had one brother Leif. She enjoyed many friendships from an early age which see cultivated till the very end.

Mia wanted to be a social worker but her dad would not let her go in debt for school. Wanting an adventure far from home Mia was a nanny in England for a time. Mia loved to travel. She started early as a 20 year old and continued throughput her life until she was no longer physically able to do so. Her greatest adventure though has to be moving to the United states from Norway.
