He could normally be found at my house, or I'd be at his - usually getting up to mischief. Loads of great memories with Matt from around this time - including holidays at his Grandparents house in Cemaes.

I knew Matt from David Hughes. The one memory I have was when he borrowed my Blade VHS and he loved it. We only spoke about films and music. I saw/spoke to him a few times after we finished school. He always wanted to know what I'd been up to and had a genuine interest in what I had to say.
Patrick Roberts This may have been Matt's first job. We were both pot washers at the Sunshine Chinese Restaurant. These were fun times - working alongside Josie, Carol, Mattie Jones and Chinese Bangor Uni students. Matt befriended one of the waiters and persuaded him to buy us a bottle of 60%+ alcohol from China, which we got smashed on after work one night
I’ve got so many good memories of Matt from our secondary school years. Constant messing about in science classes, working in the Chinese, him and Pat having a play fight outside after a shift one night which ended in rice all over Wood Street, smashing pumpkins in Disneyland (actual pumpkins- not the band), spending ages painstakingly adding gold ...

Chris Murphy After passing out in troop 946 together me and Matt were partnered up together during the FAMS part of our driving course... I don't think there was a moment we weren't laughing! trying our best to scare the civilian instructor (John) speeding over bumps and threatening to roll the truck if he didn't shut up ... Mark Hø I worked with Matt around 2008/2009, one of the nicest and most helpful guys I worked with during my time in the Marines. We always kept in touch, and spoke very recently about some plans he had to move to Scotland, absolutely devastated to hear such a gentleman is gone.

Anahita Taheri Colton I only met Matt a few times in 2021. Instantly my thought was that he was really nice. After spending a few hours with him it was obvious that he was down to earth and very intelligent. We all thought he was great company; me, my husband, my parents and my kids. He was a very engaging conversationalists and uniquely took time to get to know others. At our Halloween party he joined in all the fun and silliness without hesitation which was just so wonderful! We all felt very comfortable in his company and enjoyed his presence! We genuinely wish we’d had many more encounters with him. And of course important to note is how much we love the beautiful little humans that he created and raised with Rebecca. They are such precious, sweet little ones.
