    Celebrating the life of

    Maria Shalla Montemayor de Guzman

    10 Apr 1971 - 13 Jun 2020

Obituary of Shalla Montemayor De Guzman Shalla de Guzman, 49, of Las Vegas Nevada, died Saturday, June 13, 2020. Born April 10, 1971, in Caloocan City, Manila Philippines, to Romeo and Tita de Guzman. A devoted Democrat, she decided to leave this world before the next presidential election to avoid another surprise. She was an incredible writer, graduating cum laude from Cal Poly University majoring in English Literature; a highly talented artist who painted beautiful murals and drew caricatures in the bright city of Las Vegas; also, she was an okay singer. She is survived by her parents, Romeo and Tita, and her sister, Sharon whom she leaves her most beloved earthly possessions including her pink backpack and glittered hat. She was a fun, high spirited individual who enjoyed parties and gatherings (the more food the better), traveling, and learning different languages. Her colorful personality will be missed by many and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven at Rowland Heights. As per Shalla's request, in lieu of flowers or monetary donations, vote Democrat in November.
