NGAMOTU, Maria Jacqueline. 13-8-1965 – 5-6-2016. Our beautiful Maria passed quietly away in Whakatane Hospital surrounded by her whanau. Wonderful mother of her treasured daughter Te Maari (deceased) and Adam, and Diana. Beloved daughter of Manaia (deceased) and Julie. Loving sister of Horo and Daphne, Alexandra and Minta, Joseph, Ngahuia, Elliott and Julie, Lynnie and Michelle. Adored aunty, nanny Ria and loved friend to so many. Our special “Dub” Mā te Atua koe e manaaki… Titiro ki a ia i roto i tō haerenga hou… Ki te taha koe o tō pēpē, o tō pāpā, o tō tātou whānau e aroha ana ināianei… Ka titiro mātou ki a Rangi. Ka tukuna tō mātou aroha, tō mātou mokemoke mai i a Papa. Moemoea tō mātou Aunty, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Mum, Nanny. Kāore koe i te mamae ināianei. Tangihanga will be held at Pukeko Marae, Poroporo. A funeral service for Maria will be held at the above Marae on Thursday 9th June at 10am followed by burial in the Hillcrest New Lawn Cemetery.
