Marcia Strassman was an American actress and singer who passed away at the age of 66 from breast cancer. She was best known for her roles as Julie Kotter in “Welcome Back, Kotter” and in the 1989 feature film “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” Strassman had a hit in the 1960's with “The Flower Children.”Born in 1948 in New York City, at the age of 15 Strassman took over for Liza Minnelli in the role of "Ethel Hofflinger" in the off-Broadway musical "Best Foot Forward."
