Marcello Angelo Stella

Beloved father of Leeann, Delly, Sharon, Donna and Tracey. Grandfather of Calvin, Kenyon, Stuart, Alan, Leonie, Cameron and Shailee. Great Grandfather of Seth, Deakon, Conna, felicia, and Teagan. Passed away on 1st March 2016 at 90yrs of age. Marcello was the son of Maria and Pietro Stella, born 14th January 1926. Pietro worked building roads before WWII. After the war, he opened a bicycle repair business. Marcello Immigrated to Australia in his early 20's and became a naturalised citizen in 1961. Married Barbara Dianna McMillan in 1956. He worked as a Porter at the Lennons Hotel, Brisbane at first, then became a fitter & turner Engineer with Rheem, this was the position he held until his retirement in 1991. During his busy life Marcello enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing his piano accordion, gardening and relaxing at Sutton's Beach. His Hobbies were inventing useful gadgets and working on his cars.
