Lynn Rachel Redgrave, OBE, was an English actress who departed this life at the age of 67 due to breast cancer. She is well known for "Georgy Girl"(1966) which won her a New York Film Critics Award and nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Born 1943 in Marylebone, London, she attended London's Central School of Speech and Drama in 1960. Two years later, she made her professional debut in a 1962 production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Royal Court Theatre. In 1966, she won her New York Film Critics Award for her title role in the film, "Georgy Girl" for which she was also nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Redgrave made her Broadway debut the next year in "Black Comedy" with Michael Crawford and Geraldine Page. Later in her life, in 1985, Redgrave became a spokesperson and commercial actress for "Weight Watchers." In 1987, Redgrave published her well- received book: "This Is Living: How I Found Health and Happiness." In 1993, she was elected President
