Louise was born on May 1st, 1968. She was an incredibly strong and brave women, that we all looked up to. Louise was always known for her optimistic and bubbly nature. Mary Carr Louise and her doll (as big as her) Amber. I still remember their performances, she did for us. She would practise for hours before showing us, it was adorable to watch.

Mary Carr I met Louise back in 1993, we clicked straight away. We were similar and her laugh was contagious. She was the most kind, generous and loveable friend. I already miss you Lou and I hope you are at peace and free of pain. All my love, Claire

Mary Carr Lou always surrounded herself with good friends. She was very lucky to have so many wonderful people who cared about her.

Mary Carr Louise had this Spice Girls poster up on her wall for years, she always thought of herself as Sporty Spice. Her favourite song was Viva Forever, she loved the mellow sound of it and would always have it on in the background.

Mary Carr The inaugural Carr family reunion, which Louise organised. A beautiful day in Beverly gardens, looking over the river and park. We had the BBQ going and all the cousins were there. We loved seeing one another.

Mary Carr I still remember Louise going on and on about this film. She watched it a 100 times over. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant were two of her favorite actors.

Mary Carr Louise was the biggest animal lover and she couldn't resist getting her own puppy. Marvin was always by her side and loved having cuddles.

Mary Carr Louise was never one to shy away from an adventure. She tackled camping, like she took on life...with enthusiasm and positivity. Even when we couldn't pitch the tent and the poles kept breaking, Louise still made us laugh about it and move forward.

Mary Carr Walks in the park were a favorite pastime for Lou. She loved people watching and seeing the world go by.

Anna Matthews Louise had a smile that would light up the room! I met Lou back in 2015, we shared a common love for books and our adorable puppies. Marvin and Lola became fast friends with countless visits to the park. I think it was just an excuse for us to catch up more as well. Every time I walk through Salt Lake Park, I take a moment to remember our wonderful walks, Lou. I miss you every day. Love Cameron

Mary Carr Lou participated in the Mothers Day Classic with family friends. The walk was followed by croissants in the park. I think we ate them in minutes! This walk is now Australia's largest walk-run to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mary Carr A beautiful family dinner held when Kel and Tash visited from Germany. We really started to make these a regular occurrence. Lou loved these nights, including doing the cooking if she was up to it. We shared fun memories and made these moments special.

Mary Carr This changed Louise's and our lives forever: the day Lou became a fighter and a survivor. We love our beautiful girl and will always remember her optimistic attitude throughout everything. She was an inspiration to all.

Mary Carr The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald, was one of Lou's favorites. She turned to it particularly in the times when she wanted to escape reality. You could often find her head buried in her old but loved copy of this classic.

Anna Matthews Louise and I met at our chemotherapy centre. On that first meeting, we just clicked. We would talk for hours and sometimes I would even forget where I was. Lou had an amazing outlook on life. No matter what, she didn't let life get her down. Lou Lou, I know you are watching us from above and I am sending you all my love, you'll have always have a special place in my heart. - Sarah x

Mary Carr A place that we spent sleepless nights and shed plenty of tears, sometimes of happiness and sometimes of fear. However, the staff at the cancer ward were incredibly kind and ensured we were well looked after. Thank you to the team.

Mary Carr Although her appetite was limited, Lou was always hungry for our family pizza bread. Passed down through the generations, we gave Lou a constant supply of this. Up until the end, it always managed to put a smile on her face.

Mary Carr Marvin had countless visits to Lou on the days when she was the most down, he could cheer her up. I think in some ways he was one of the things in her life that kept her fighting and pushed her through until the end.
