    Our farm on Kangaroo Island straddled Middle River. This meant we always had water for the stock, but sometimes the sheep couldn't gain access owing to thick scrub.     Had he lived, Dad would have been 102 today. We were lucky to have him until age 94.His ashes were scattered in Nepean Bay on Kangaroo Island, from my Auster aircraft, according to his wishes. I think of him often, but especially when I overlook Nepean Bay.
