    A memorial service for Leslie was held on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 975 Silverado Trail North, Calistoga, CA 94515.     David Hall My sister was headstrong and had a real talent for talking her way into getting what she wanted. One day while my mom was at work we were home with a teenage babysitter and somehow my sister talked him into proving he could hang out the second story window and do pullups. Leslie comes home from work, pulls into the driveway, and sees Cindy and I looking down while the babysitter, who is supposed to be the responsible one, is dangling by his arms from the second story window and holding onto the sill with his hands. That was the last time Leslie ever trusted anyone younger than 30 to babysit my sister!

    David Hall A few years after marrying Phil, Leslie decided that being Chad's stepmother was not enough. She officially adopted him as her son and my stepbrother was promoted to plain old brother.     Somewhere around this time I was sitting in the Kingdom Hall in the middle of a Sunday talk and apparently not-so-quietly keeping myself entertained. I also had a stuffy nose, and as I felt myself starting to sneeze Leslie reached over and put her hand over my mouth.
