Leonard James POSTLETHWAITE
In the First World War, Leonard James POSTLETHWAITE volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Melbourne, Victoria aboard HMAT Miltiades on 1 August 1916. He was a member of the 23rd Infantry Battalion. Leonard is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
