We went to St. Augustine beach with Eric and Laura and all our young children in the 80,s. During this trip, we learned that Laura hated the beach…especially the sand!! My husband Steve, Eric and I would take all the girls down to the beach and enjoy the sun, surf and yes sand! We soon realized the Laura would pretty much stay in the condo all day...

  1. Esther Maritza Younger PadillaSending our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Our friendship started at the American School in Tegucigalpa, Honduras during high-school. We became roommates in Miami, Fla. in the 70's and she was my lucky charm who introduced me to my husband of 49 years. She was a bridesmaid at our wedding in Miami, Florida. We kept in touch and she was so happy, so proud of her familly relating her travels to see her grandkids that were so special to her. Pictures were shared .. We got to see each other last year in July for my birthday. I was so grateful for the lunch invitation from Laura and Eric. Laura was a loyal, loving friend and we will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace. Amen. 1st May, 2025
  2. Kathy VillalbaI am in shock to learn this. I worked with Laura at ABB. She sat right behind me and she truly made work days so much more enjoyable. I enjoyed hearing about her daughters and husband which she was so proud of and all of her life stories. I will always remember her countdown to retirement. She would be having a rough day with one of her accounts and she would say loudly "Only 487 days until retirement!". She was a wonderful human and she will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences to her family especially to Dani, Lauren, and Eric. I knew you all so well because of how much she loved and gushed about you.18th January, 2025
