Hilary Bellm You were an amazing son and brother. We miss you!
Theis Nelson Loved going to the wacc with Landon. We would spend most days there in elementary. Miss you brother.
Hilary Bellm Landon, you were there for us since we were puppies. We enjoyed all our hiking adventures, playing in the yard and snuggling on the couch. Sancho is very sorry for all the times he had potty accidents on your bed. It was just his way of saying he loved you. We miss you, Scout and Sancho
Aidan Zhao Loved hanging out with Landon. One of the most badass pics from the petting zoo at school
Angel Sandlin Landon we were so lucky to have you in our family. This was your 3rd birthday at NayNay and Ghee's house! We couldn't wait to see you and celebrate your birthday! Lena and William were happy to have new cousins to play with. And MamaDear was thrilled to see her Great Grandbabies!
Aidan Zhao Loved playing football with you. Miss playing cornerback together and dogging on each others form. Miss going to the field with you and conditioning with you every weekend. Thinking of when we had a boxing tournament one of those weekend. Miss you man
When I think about Landon, I remember a brilliant and gifted young man whose passion for reading huge novels and using exceptional vocabulary amazed me. Though he was young, his intellect shone brightly and often left me in awe. I was captivated by his wisdom and quick wit. Sometimes I felt like he was the teacher and I was the student. His dedicat...
My interactions with Landon were as Aaron's brother or as your son. Every time I was around him, at our house, giving him a ride to basketball, at your house, etc, he was always a gentleman, always respectful.

Solenne Frappreau Landon, I was your first French au pair. You had just moved to California with your family after spending the first years of your life in Luxembourg. You were the cutest 3 year old. You had the chubbiest cheeks, a contagious smile and you loved cuddles, Thomas the train and Bob the builder. You understood French perfectly and spoke it too (even if I sometimes had to bribe you with blueberries so you'd answer in French :) ) . That year sharing the life of your family, was one of the best years of my life. I loved being your nanny and I dearly love your family. I will miss you my little bubby. Love, Solenne
Ooh Young Bellm is my little buddy. A founding member of the G-Money All-Stars.. a term that will mean very little outside of Mr. Tesfay's 7th Period AP World History class. My main memories of Bellm is the smiles. Constant smiles. Even when I was making him do work that seemed pointless and tedious.. still smiling. He was a little social just...
Addie Gates Thanks for helping me ski down the double blacks you and josh took us on. You’ve always been so kind and caring. We miss you.
Anne Henderson My son was one of the lucky kiddos on the football team that Landon coached this spring. The boys ADORED him and talked about how cool he was! At the end of the season that wanted Landon to come to Amy’s Ice Cream and celebrate with them. They won the championship under Landon’s direction, he was an amazing coach. We was truly gifted in the coaching arena…quiet, always keeping his cool, but had his head in the game ALWAYS! It was one of Charlie’s favorite seasons for sure. Thank you Landon for showing our boys how to play hard all while being humble. ❤️
Tara Wadlow I loved the few times I was able to spend time with my nephews and niece.

Claudia Palma-Murray
Claudia Palma-Murray They loved climbing that tree together!!!
Claudia Palma-Murray
Claudia Palma-Murray Yes! Mia would sing so loud and Landon would just look at her in surprise ❤️
Claudia Palma-Murray I remember taking this photo and thinking “what a beautiful soul”!!

I first met Landon as a new 6th grader at Saint Stephen's. He was part of my advisory group that year and a student in one of my advanced math sections. He had a soft spot for animals and GREATLY cared for our little class pet, a sweet and cute guinea pig named Gus. Landon was wicked brilliant, had a fine, witty sense of humor, and livened up any s...
I met Landon last year in Mrs. McKinney’s comp-sci and Profe Jimeno’s 8th period Spanish class and he was a genuine ray of sunshine. His intelligence and wit was unmatched. Landon was so eager and willing to help me with my Spanish and we loved talking about school, our sports, and career ambitions! Landon never failed to make me laugh regardless o...
amber wise Pic-Pop Warner Junior Blue 2018 end of Season party. My husband, Toby, coached Landon on the 2018 JPW Football team. Toby said he was a great corner, had a big heart and was one of the most coachable kids he ever coached. ❤️ Once a Chap, always a Chap
Tara Christie Kinsey In March 2019, our two families spent time together at Blackberry Farm. Even then, I immediately noted Landon's sheer intellectual brilliance as well as the extraordinary force of his will. As I took this photo, I remembered Psalm 62:6 "I shall not be moved." He was a beautiful brilliant boy with a bright future, and he was always going to do it his way. Rest in peace, beautiful Landon.
I remember standing in my kitchen with Hilary learning that she was newly pregnant with twins. The excitement! I remember Brent's story of their heroic birth, and that it gave me chills. Landon and Aaron were survivors. It's special to read this tributes and to realize that although Landon's life was far too short, he brought a lot of passion a...
Connor Vasek Every day after 6th period I would walk with Landon to my next class. Once he got a leg injury, we had to start riding the elevator instead. However, one day Landon decided to crutch down the stairs instead of riding the elevator. I thought he was crazy for that, so I had to get a video. This showed Landon’s great determination. Landon never failed to put a smile on my face when I was around him. I love you and miss you brother❤️
Landon was a joy to coach. I was so looking forward to his senior year because I believed he would be overlooked for his size until they couldn't overlook him anymore. He grabbed my attention at one 7 on 7 game where a 6'4" WR caught the first touchdown of the game on a lob pass against Landon. He celebrated by holding the ball over Landon and taun...
I remember back in Elementary I would come over to hang out with you and Aaron. We would sit on the coach and play Lego Star Wars and super Mario which you would always destroy me in. I can’t believe just a few weeks ago we were all at the fields working out. Still doesn’t feel real to me but it is comforting knowing you are in Gods hands. Love and...
Leslie Boldrick Maybe in 4th grade? The kids had typewriter rodeo during library. Both Bellm boys wrote a poem to ME. I am often forgotten and totally fine with that but I have these poems in my special file and refer to them often when I’m wondering why I do what I do. Bellm family you made a mark on me and I will treasure these mementos forever ❤️ Nurse Boldrick
Ali Ashworth Stewart Like you, we live away from family for our day-to-day and have found that friends and the church community become our daily family. Our kids look especially forward to family events because it is there where they’ve experienced a deep love across many generations, despite a variety of thoughts, beliefs, and lifestyles. It’s been too long since we’ve been with y’all, as there have been 6 busy kids between us. Sports, academics, jobs, music responsibilities, etc. have kept us apart for a while, but memories of simpler days are long-standing. Thank you, Bellms, for sharing your time with us in Alaska, Canada, California, The Center of the Universe (Carlinville, IL), and at a variety of family wedding tables, funeral tables, and dinner tables. We hold these memories close and anticipate, with eagerness, future opportunities for bonding. Our kids ARE the same ages with some overlapping interests, so it’ll surely be FUN!!!
Landon's knowledge of the talent pool in the 22-23 NFL season was extensive. Although I was his English teacher, assisting him with essay development and such at the time, he was a teacher when it came to explaining to me what players would be the best for my fantasy football roster on certain weeks. My team ended in first place this past season; i...
Landon came over recently during one of our single-digit freezes, during which we Northern Dancer/Ayres neighbors had the opportunity to band together, get to know each other better and forge a bond. Being a girl mom, I don't have much boy experience, but I distinctly remember thinking as Landon left, so polite and sweet, "precious boy". He was on...
I was the Instructional Partner at Bridge Point. My favorite time of the day was standing at the gym doors greeting the kids as they came in for Morning Assembly. Landon always entered with a novel in hand and eagerness on his face as he’d give me a quick review of how the book was going. We shared a love of reading and excellent writing. I am grat...
Jackson Kennedy Found some old pictures from when we were little. We were so cool at the Minecraft themed birthday party
I remember when Brent, Aaron and Landon came over to our house to use our tools to work on the pinewood derby cars. Dylan and I had a scroll saw so you could cut the perfect curve for the car's body. In typical Bellm-fashion, Landon and Aaron were all-in, as was his father, to win the competition. :)
Jeffrey Mosler I remember when the Bellms visited my hometown, Waterloo, Belgium. They walked the battlefield and the boys, especially Aaron, was infatuated with Napoleon. Brent sent me a picture of Aaron standing next to the famous Lion of Waterloo, and I remember Landon and Aaron giving me a full history of the battle when they returned from Europe.
Jeffrey Mosler My absolute, all-time favorite Landon story.... I remember spending an evening with Brent at the Bellm home. It was early, the kids were still awake, and Brent served some wine and treats. Then, he ushered the boys downstairs to bed, he came back up and said to me, "Now let's get the good stuff!", and he opened up some special chocolate. Well, Landon knew that Brent might open the chocolate, and he had snuck back up the stairs to see if that would be the case. As soon as the chocolate appeared, he leapt out from the darkness to get a square!
I remember watching Landon in his first swim races for the ACC Dolphins. Since I was the starter, I had the best seat in the house, and I remember I used to text Brent about the kids' personal bests. The Bellm boys never disappointed, but it was actually the next Bellm offspring, Scarlett, who was the natural in the water!
I remember Brent had a tradition with the kids where he would take them to the Veloway for a morning bike ride, and then they would eat Indian at Tarka. I remember being so impressed about how adventurous the Bellm kids were with their appetites even at a such a young age. This prompted me to make a donation to the Lady Bird Johson Wildflower Ce...
Brent Bellm Landon's last extended family event was in Rhode Island / Connecticut / Boston for the Navy retirement ceremony of his Uncle John Genta. The first picture was at a lobster roll shack on the way to the ceremony, and the second was with Uncle "Landon 2" Ashworth at dad's business school in Boston.
It was literally my first day as assistant principal at BPE (which was sometime in February) and I was shadowing Mr. Wirht. Landon and his buddies were referred to Mr. Wirht for a "pep talk" (probably some over-competitiveness at recess if I had to guess). We were standing on the sidewalk, right outside the gym. Out of nowhere, Hilary came walk...
Melissa Levine December 2013. Oh the gym parties ... an extra hour for the parents, a blast for the kids, and I don't know how our precious BPE PE teachers did it after school ... every day. But boy, those kids had a ball. Happiness in every face. Landon, you will be missed by all your friends but never, ever forgotten. Lots of love from the Levine family
He might be the funniest person I have ever met. His wit and sarcasm rival the greatest comedians I've ever met. When we were in Boston for a cousin's retirement ceremony Landon and Aaron were giving each other relentless hell. I wasn't sure if it was mean-spirited or in jest, but playful ribbing is how my dearest friends and I communicate love. I ...
Jenn Grant I love that our last names ( Bellow/Bellm) have had our kiddos together since 2nd grade!!! Ansley and Landon ( or Aaron in 3rd) always in line laughing together ❤️
Kierstin loved being in class and friends with Landon. He was such a sweet boy who always cared about everyone around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We will never forget Landon. 💕
Alyson Jablow I will forever be grateful that we were able to celebrate your first birthday in Luxembourg. You were our first nephews and we loved you dearly. Graham couldn’t wait to pick out all the Braves swag for the two of you. I can only imagine the football conversations between Landon and Graham this year debating the Cowboys vs the Falcons. We miss you always but know you are surrounded by our loved ones. Keep an eye on Lainey and Celia please. They could definitely use another set of eyes. All the hugs and love Landon. You are missed everyday.
I don’t remember the first time I met Landon, but it was several years ago, I was probably around 7 years old, which means he was 9. Our parents are good friends, and we have spent a lot of time together as families since then. I especially remember playing outside in the Bellm’s backyard, mostly football. Landon loved doing that. I have many mem...
Maddie loved being in class (2nd grade) with Landon and said he was always the nicest guy. She said she remembers being sooo jealous that he was from Belgium and how amazing that sounded. OX!
Brent Bellm
Oh yes, we could see it from across the room, Lance and Landon sitting side by side during the parent/student orientation in 6th grade at St Stephens in an art class, I believe, maybe math. Landon was one of Lance's first friends he made at St Stephens and this introduction to the two of them did not disappoint. They were two peas in a pod, laugh...
Dear Mr and Mrs Bellm I am so sorry about Landon. He was always such a bright and kind kid always lighting up the room. Ever since I moved to bridge point he was always there helping me with any questions I had and always a true friend. My favorite memories with him were messing around together at football practice always making jokes together. I a...
Mary Emma Partain Landon was and incredible role model to this team. Teddy loved having him as a coach, so much so that Landon babysat for Teddy, a couple of friends, and his brothers, Gus and Harry. That was fun for all to have such a cool, kind, and talented teenager hang with them. Landon interacted with the kids well and was so encouraging. He texted me, "Teddy has been a pleasure to have on the team.... he is a good morale booster, and the other kids get excited when he makes a play. He had a big touchdown catch Sunday and really helped get us back into the game after a rough start." Landon was thoughtful in how he coached and clearly was sincere in the way he interacted with them and built them up. After babysitting, he said he "had a great time last night. It was nice to catch up with the team." He was a real gift to the boys. It's no wonder they had a winning season with him at the helm. You should be so proud. He's missed by all he touched.
Andrew Atsumi Our family has such fond memories of Landon; his passion, wit, and humor were unmatched. Wicked fast with a quip or comment, and that smile! You always knew something clever was brewing… To the Bellms; we have faith that Landon’s journey continues, and that this tragedy is serving a greater purpose that we hope and pray will, one day, be revealed to us. Landon, your light is sorely missed, and you are loved. Rest easy. Sincerely, Andrew, Amy, Aaron and Asher
Before Evan was old enough to drive himself to weekend football sessions I would drive him into Westlake then hang out with the boys while they played. Landon, Evan, Coach Brown, and I were always there along with a cast of other characters. One of the things we looked forward to every week was the Landon “Hot Take” on sports. He used to come up...
In January 2023, during our annual sales kick off dinner at Brent's house, I chose to sit in a room where the TV was tuned to an NBA game, as I'm a sports fan. While relishing the delicious dinner, I had the pleasure of meeting Landon, who happened to be present as well. Upon realizing my preference for NFL, I asked him to help me change the channe...
Katie Ashworth While the living distance makes it difficult for us to get together often, the times that we got to spend with Landon will always be treasured. Forever loved and in our hearts.
Hilary Bellm From Landon's grandfather, Jim Borland: Landon visited me and his grandmother in Georgia the first week of June. We loved having him all to our selves for a couple of days. We had a perfect day out on the lake together. Notice the unique smile on Landon‘s face after stating, "Ghee, thank you so much for finally teaching me how to safely drive a very fast boat on a very busy lake Oconee.” Landon and Ghee with the boat 2022 and 2010
Welcome to Landon's memorial We created this memorial to celebrate the life of Landon Bellm with family and friends.
