On July 6, 2015, suddenly at home in Christchurch in his 76th year. Dearly loved husband of Beverley, much loved father of Donna, Gavin, and Annette and Miles, loved granddad of Stefan, Sarah, and Annalise; Maddison, Hayley, Lucas, and Annabel, a loved great granddad of Olly, a loved brother of Fay, Ross, and Gary, loved brother in law of Brian, and a loved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
