Born on May 4, 2001, in Brasília, Brazil, Julia Diogenes’ journey has taken her across continents. She moved to Slovenia in 2008, where she embraced a new culture and learned Slovenian, before relocating to the United States in 2010. Her love for animals led her to pursue Animal Studies at BYU Idaho, beginning in 2020. Julia’s passion for animals extended beyond her studies—she worked in pet shops, cherishing the time spent caring for various creatures. At home, she shared her life with two cats, Mercure and Jagoda (strawberry in Slovenian), and a bearded dragon named Buddy. Beyond her love for animals, Julia is a talented cook and baker, delighting friends and family with her culinary creations. She enjoys exploring restaurants and sharing meals with loved ones, always generous in spirit and action. Julia’s vibrant personality and dedication to her passions make her someone who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.
