They began their marriage in Virginia (a place they loved so much that they chose the name for their second daughter), catching crabs at Virg... more

Judy Chang With Ella & Nova, down the block from the house. Mom loved the red rock scenery and could gaze at the mountains for hours.
Joanne Chang Mom insisted on teaching Nova to read when she was 2 years old. I had no interest in pushing academics. So she started her on the book we all learned to read from - Hop On Pop - and Nova grew to become a (very) avid reader. Lao Lao knows best.
Joanne Chang Lao Lao often had the girls, Nova and Lindsey, over for sleepovers in Roxborough. She would make them dumplings and noodles from scratch and take them to Target the next day to pick out a toy and some clothes. The girls would come home with a bag full of new items, often with some of Lao Lao's jewelry or old treasures in the mix.
