McMANEMIN Joseph de Valley CBE, QSO, JP, Peacefully left us on 5 August 2014 aged 91 years. Loved husband of the late Gay, and the late Toni. Loving and cherished father of Murray, Diane and Jan. Loved father in law of Kyra and Barry. Loved Grandfather of the late Dean, Paul and Anthea, Hayley and Jesse, Stephanie, Daniel and their partners Kerry and Mikaela. Loved great grandfather of Zoe. A man who put others first and as a mentor showed how to learn from mistakes and how to improve on your successes. He gave more than he took. Thanks for your wisdom and encouragement. He has earned and deserves his rest. Thanks to Elizabeth Knox Home for all their loving care and support given to our father, grandfather and great grandfather. A service to celebrate Joe's life will be held at St Mary's in Holy Trinity, Parnell Road, Parnell on Tuesday August 12th at 11:00am. Followed by a private burial at Purewa Cemetery.
