    Joseph Eugene Scrima was born July 15th, 1935 in Schenectady New York. He was one of 7 boys born to Mary (Gitto) Scrima, also of Schenectady and Frank Scrima of Messina, Italy.     I remember, “Joe Burgers”! They were hot as hell, but good. When we had the, “Scrima Trio,” when I got out of time, he would wrap me on the knuckles with his drumsticks.
