When I think of my years at Jefferson Elementary school I immediately think of ‘Mrs Diane’ as she was affectionally called. Diana's Haiku: Diana was beauty. Soft wings flitting here and there, her smile full of joy. A favorite teacher - elementary years passed, molding our future. A loving Nana, pressing cookies, tickling tots; sweetly remembered. Mother, lover, friend - loved and missed forevermore, taken on the wind.

We enjoyed getting to know Nana and Pops. They always had smiles on their faces. Nana was ready to help with the kids (any kids!), and Pops always had a story or joke!
