Mark Lovell One of our favorite memories of Pops is him meeting us at the Y to watch Cameron or Paxton's swimming lessons. After swimming we would usually go to Dairy Queen to have a snack.

    Jul 2019

Mark Lovell One of Cameron's favorite memories of Nana is making cookies. Nana always had a project on the days that she watched the kids. Nana and Pops regularly watched the kids on Friday afternoons.

This is the most beautiful tribute. They were described perfectly as the loving and doting parents and grandparents they were. They are Cammi and Pax's special angels now. 😭

Dearest Amanda ,Mark an kids, I adored both your folks but knew your mom from our teaching jobs at LECC in Lindenhurst. Your mom was both a mentor and a friend. We shared a love of the children we taught and a love for teaching. She was my go to person to brainstorm with when a child was struggling. Her knowledge and expertise with all children ...

Diana was my grade school teacher. She was amazing teacher. RIP Diana

Your mom was one of my favorite teachers. She was kind and loved her students well. When I think of my years at Jefferson Elementary school I immediately think of ‘Mrs Diane’ as she was affectionally called. I’m proud to have known her and I pray that your family is comforted in this season of your life

Steven King I worked with John at Caremark. He helped me a great deal. Anytime time I had an issue he was there to help me every single time. I enjoyed all of his stories they were very colorful, most of them were about his family. I will miss him very much. Goodbye Jon, you were a great colleague and friend!

Amanda, this is such a beautiful tribute to your parents. Although we met them only a few times, these photos show their incredible love for each other and for you & your family. We know how special they must have been because they raised such an amazing daughter. We are keeping you close in our hearts.

Dear Amanda, I had the pleasure of knowing your Mom from LECC. The three of us, Toni Levy, your Mom and I formed a friendship around our love and concern for children. She was beautiful inside and out and I have been blessed by knowing her. She held my hand many times. Your Dad helped set up a computer for me and his outgoing personality always...

A Haiku to Remember Jon: Pops brings them smiles, a gleeful, goofy spirit - cold treats, post cool swims. Big Fish paddles 'round, always a colorful tale, grants chuckles and grins. Had pep in those steps - a husband and family man - twinkle in the eyes. Good father and friend, he loved his sweet Panduh girl, comfy laps and hugs. In our hea...

Dear Manda, Mark, Cammi and Pax, Our hearts are with you during these times. Diana and Jon (Nana and Pops) were such kind people. May the many good memories never fade, and may these memories bring you comfort and peace. We send our love, Caitlin, Mat, Lennon and Woodrow

Diana's Haiku: Diana was beauty. Soft wings flitting here and there, her smile full of joy. A favorite teacher - elementary years passed, molding our future. A loving Nana, pressing cookies, tickling tots; sweetly remembered. Mother, lover, friend - loved and missed forevermore, taken on the wind.

    Caitlin E. Demel3 Apr 2020

We enjoyed getting to know Nana and Pops. They always had smiles on their faces. Nana was ready to help with the kids (any kids!), and Pops always had a story or joke! You could tell how much they loved you guys and especially had a special bond with Cammi and Pax. We have fond memories of visiting with them at various events like T-ball, swimming ...

This memory is from Joe Grimm, my parents' financial advisor. Joe has helped manage my parents' finances since 2012. When we met with him after my dad passed away, he had many stories to share from the many meetings he had with my parents over the years -- my dad's long stories, my mom's cookies, etc. Shortly after my mom died, Joe met with my dad ...
