BELDHAM, John Richard: Regt. No. 21182884, Sgt, Royal Engineers K Force, British Army; Regt. No. 36379, Sgt, NZ Army. Long-time resident of the Kapiti Coast. Went out on his own terms at Wellington Hospital on Tuesday 19 September 2018, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Pam for 64 years. Much loved father and father-in-law to Lorraine & Tony, Deborah, Shelley & Eric, Jules, Sandra & Pat, Sarah, Matthew, and Mark. A much loved grandfather to 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 13. Gone but not forgotten A celebration of John’s life will be held in the Kapiti Coast United Clubrooms, aka Raumati Hearts, Weka Park, Raumati Beach on Tuesday 25 September 2018 at 1pm, followed by a private family burial with refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory to a charity of his choice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
