John Charles MARCHANT
In the First World War, John Charles MARCHANT volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Sydney, New South Wales aboard HMAT SS Port Napier on 17 November 1916. He was a member of the 7th Infantry Battalion. John is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
