Joan Margaret Staunton

Beloved wife of Robert Staunton, mother to her three sons David, Graham and Colin, good friends with her daughter in-law Cheryl (Colin's wife) who she loved like a daughter and great friend of Theresa (Graham's Fiancé) and grandmother to her beloved Grand Daughter Felicity. Sister to Norma and Marlene and good friends with their Husband's Johnny and Des. Joan grew up in the Muswellbrook - Mudgee area of New South Wales in construction sites where her parents worked hard to make an existence in this world. She eventually married in 1952 and began a new life building a better future. Joan's life improved over the years and her later years were peaceful and contented - something she cherished. She loved life and all it had to offer and her reward was the love of her family and friends as people are what mattered to her. She drew people toward her and this offered her fulfilment of her life - loving and being loved. Joan departed this world peacefully and her memory lives on in every one she encountered. Joan was a great lady.
