Joan Landon

Joan Sylvia Landon (née Parker) died on 28th April 2016, aged 84, after an illness bravely fought. Widow of Theodore, mother of Mark, Felicity, Jim, Rohais and Ben, mother-in- law of Rhian, Chris and Ailsa, and grandmother of Bethan, Sam, Cai, Edward, Philippa, William, Anna, Michael and Corinne. Also much loved by her wider family and friends. Fifty years of service to the Girl Guide movement and Trefoil Guild, and a life member of the Embroiders’ Guild. Funeral Mass and burial at St George’s Church, Great Bromley, Essex, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd June 2016. At Joan’s request, please wear a splash of colour.
