As an avid Melbourne supporter I have followed you for many years, both on and off the field, and was deeply saddened to learn of your passing. You were an inspiration to all and will be sadly missed.
You put up a stellar fight mate, but what ya gonna do, I lost 3 members of my family to this desease, it's never easy for the survivors, time heals a little of the pain, at least your pain is over, that's some grace. RIP mate.
My thoughts go to Jim's wife Sam and the kids. I can't imagine losing my life long partner so early. Life will seem very empty and alone for some time to come. An inspirational man who even to the end put others before himself.
my hearts breaks for your wife and beautiful children. If only there were more people like you in the world, it would be a much better place. May you now rest in peace.
A truly inspirational man, my heart goes out your beautiful family and friends. You fought a good fight, may your family be comforted by that. My 14 yr old daughter had just finished an assignment based on someone who shows inspiration, she chose YOU
