SMITHSON Jerome David. On Tuesday 15th August 2017, peacefully at Mary Shapley Rest Home, Whakatane; in his 83rd year. Loved and loving husband of Jean. Loving father of Lisa and Bart, Karen and Pete, Stella and Naomi. Loved and loving Grandfather of Alana, Sammy and Dani. Cherished brother of Sue, John (deceased), and Martin. At peace now after a long illness. A celebration of Jerome’s life will be held in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Kelly Street, Opotiki on Saturday 19th August at 11am followed by burial in the Woodlands Cemetery.
