The world has lost a great man. Jason radiated kindness. I was often able to see him come home from work and the way that the kids' faces lit up when he walked in the room, their excitement was palpable. It was evident that the feeling was mutual, as he couldn't wait to hear about their day, giving each boy his full attention. To anyone who has ...
Jason radiated joy and compassion, and he was genuinely interested in the lives of those around him. He is an inspiration and will be sorely missed. Thank you, Jason!

I feel honored to have known Jason, even if only for a little while. It was a joy coaching the Olive Pirates with him - he was so kind, patient, soft-spoken, and FUN. His spirit will no doubt live on in his wonderful family....

I only knew Jason briefly through teaching his kids. I always told people that I was working with the three nicest boys I had ever met, and I am sure that Jason was a huge part of that. He was kind, elegant, and strong and wonderful father which I'm sure will continue to shine through those boys. My heart goes out to you

I am so grateful for the walks / talks around the soccer field this past spring- Jason truly had a way of making you feel comfortable and calm when you needed it most. Thanks for taking my Jackson to Cooperstown and the Red Bulls - not many dads are brave enough to load up a Volvo with energetic young boys and head off on adventures like these alon...

I came to know Jason through his work in solar and have long admired all he gave to the local community. I consider myself lucky to have gotten to know him -- his easy spirit, love of family, contagious smile, and passion for clean energy was undeniable. He reminded me of the "man in the arena", knowing the greatest of devotions, committing his l...

I didn't know Jason personally although I felt as if I did. I continually heard what an awesome man, father and friend he was from my cousin Morganne who was lucky enough to work with him during the last year of his life. Clearly, he touched many lives and will be forever missed.....
I only met Jason once but I still remember how touched I was by his warm and welcoming presence when I came to visit ElizabethAnne and her family at their home last spring. Besides his friendliness and hospitality to myself and the other guests, I was particularly struck by the kindness and attention he payed to his sons. He was both strong and pl...

Jason always handled his business professionally and was a great negotiator when required. It's very difficult to imagine calling Solar Generation and not talking to Jason. I am speechless. He will be missed, and the NY solar market has lost real talent with Jason's passing.
I always looked forward to talking with Jason as we worked on solar projects together. He was very kind and professional, and he was one of my favorite people to work with. It can be said that a person's passion for life will extend into working for what they love, and this was truly evident in him. My heart goes out to his family, friends and his ...

Nicole Peer We spent a weekend with the Spiottas last summer-we had such a great time and the kids loved hanging out together. It was just fun being together and I will cherish that time we all had together. Jason was so wonderful with his kids and ours. He really enjoyed interacting and playing with them. He was such a patient and gentle person, not your average guy. He really loved having 1 on 1 time with each of his boys and spending time with them, it was so clear how much he loved his family. Being around him always inspired me to be an even better parent and a better person. He will be missed more than words can say.

I'm so sad to have learned of Jason's passing. I have fond memories of him from elementary school, then again in high school. He always seemed to be smiling. My deepest condolences.

I just wanted to leave my condolences and a comforting scripture. John 5:28 reads- 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This speaks of a resurrection of our dead loved ones. I know you don't know me but you and the family will be in my prayers. When you have...

Jason Spiotta was dedicated to his family—beloved wife Elizabethanne, and three cherished sons Jakson, Che, and Cosimo, parents John and Antoinette, siblings Marc and Joy, and in-laws, cousins, nephews & nieces. His generosity of spirit inspired all those around him and he was a dear friend to so, so many. His light spread far and wide. As the co-founder of Hudson Valley's SOLARgeneration, Jas... more
