Louise: generous to a fault, welcoming to all, a true professional and full of the joy of life. It was an honour and a great pleasure to have worked and shared many laughs with Louise.

Mark In my time with Louie, from 1992 through to 2002, she revealed herself to be the toughest, most independent, focused, resilient and talented woman I ever met, from horses to hounds, from rodeos to radiology. From part time radiologist at Perth Imaging to Toshiba/Canon big shot in Japan, from humble rented abode in Wembley to multiple homeowner, from isolated Derby to world traveller, a totally devoted and loved single Mum and equally devoted and loved grandmother. There appeared to be no limit to what she could do. Unlike most she knew how to read and understand an instruction manual. In the early 1990’s she was one of the first to really understand computer technology and the internet. Then she learnt all about computers and computer programs - and then she built her own computer. She learnt how to service a lawnmower, fix a motor vehicle, repair vacuum cleaners and train horses and dogs. From photography to travel blogs, the list went on and on. In the later 1990’s when she decided to get fit she bought a bike and rode it to work every day no matter the weather, from the freezing winter mornings to those stinking hot 40 plus Perth summer days. Nothing got in her way and she got very fit. She was loyal, had a great sense of humour and was always very brave. She had acute judgement and rarely made mistakes because she was serious about what she did. She rarely if ever looked back and she had few if any regrets with her eyes always firmly fixed on the next challenge. Louise and Mark shared a very important part in my life and I look back on that time with great love, fondness and wonderful memories of the contribution they both made to my life. I learnt much from Louie and those lessons remain. The news that she was gone came as a great shock, and I was deeply saddened by her passing. Someone like her deserved a little more time.
