Jan Siwanowicz

Welcome to Jan's memorial. This online memorial has been created to remember and celebrate the life of Jan Siwanowicz with his family and friends. Jan was a loving son and brother to his parents, Malgorzata and Ryszard Siwanowicz and his brother Witold Siwanowicz and sister Ania Diakoff. Among Jan's significant accomplishments were his dedicated contributions to the New York Mathematics community and advanced math education programs such as Math Team and Math Circle. Jan will be remembered as a warm, gentle, and highly intelligent person who was always willing to help and show up for those he cared for. He loved his students and mathematics community as well as his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
