Ian R. Taylor

Joined Vitol in London in 1985 from Shell. Came to Vitol Singapore to head it at the end of 1990 and stayed on till 1995 before being recalled to London to succeed Ton Vonk as President of Vitol Group. He had an earlier stint working for Shell Singapore in the early 1980’s before he went back to Shell London and shortly thereafter joined Vitol there. 2 of his children were born in Singapore. Ian is very instrumental in growing Vitol to what it is today; the largest independent and privately owned oil trading company in the world.
