allison muenzer Herm was born in Daysland, Alberta, to Meta Matzen and Adolf Muenzer. As he told his children often, he attended a small school that was 10 KM by foot, and it was uphill both ways.

allison muenzer We invited Mom and Dad to come and join us for dinner one night - we were staying at a campground on the Neck. Simon was very excited to be making lobster. My dad insisted that good lobster could not be cooked without ocean water - salted water would not do. So, the two of them took a bucket down to the wharf and Simon hung the bucket outside the car window the whole drive home!

allison m. That is so gross Paul!!

I have wonderful memories growing up with Mr. Muenzer. He would often take us us girls to the Marche de l’Ouest for ice cream or to buy stamps at the Cavendish Mall for our stamp collection. Two of my favourite memories though were 1) watching Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe and hearing him laugh throughout the movie and 2) he took us to our...

I have a lot of great memories of Herman dating back to high school. His dry sense of humour may have been unmatched. In 2004, Jen & I were in Nova Scotia for a wedding and stayed with Connie and Herman in Clementsport for a couple of days. We had a great visit - really nice memories of sitting on the deck, enjoying the beautiful setting and really...

allison muenzer Jackson and Cameron's memories of Grumpy

From Doug Rdmonds First off my deepest condolences. Your Dad was a big part of my growing up and I think of him often. I’ve raised a few glasses of rum in his honour over the last few months. Wanted to send you a few stories that epitomised Mr. Muenzer (it was never Herman) for me – and better I send to you then your stupid brother…with y...
