Lori Steiner Hank loved spending summers at our cabin, named The Ark in Colorado. Many of these memories come from our fondest days spent there together and with family. But traveling abroad was also a great opportunity to learn and experience other cultures and art. Many of these photos were taken on such trips together. Hank loved to ski but mostly while working at 49o North on the Ski Patrol. You will see photos of him patrolling and working on fundraisers for the Patrol. Teaching was Hank's greatest love. He liked to say that he was in the classroom from age 6 to 87! Wherever he went he was always teaching and learning.
Most often known as Hank or Dr. Steiner he was a renaissance man, a gentleman, an outdoorsman who lived every day as fully as he possibly could. Hank was well loved and respected by his colleagues and students, his family and friends, and all whom he met along the way.
