HOWARD, Hayland Hamilton. Passed peacefully at Ranfurly Veteran's Home, Auckland, Sunday 21st December 2014. 90 years old. Previously of Hamilton and Wellington. A prolific builder, family man and good mate to many. Son of adored parents, Claude and Daisy Howard (deceased) much loved brother of Nance Wareham (nee Howard) of Wellington and Joan Taylor (nee Howard. Deceased). Loving husband and long-time best friend of Diana Howard (nee Puttick. Deceased). A great dad to Craig and Richard Howard and father-in-law to Lynne Howard. Grandpa to Rachel and Thomas Howard and his fianc?e Katie. Great grand-dad to Jacob. Loved by all his nieces, nephews and many friends. Many thanks to all those who loved and cared for Dad for over 8 years at Ranfurly Veteran's Home, we are truly grateful. A chapel ceremony and celebration of Hayl's life will be held at Purewa Cemetery, St John's Rd Meadowbank, Auckland, on Tuesday 30 December 2014 at 11.30 am.
