Greta Magdalena Kay

Greta I see now that the stars that burn the brightest burn out first. There are no words that can articulate the love and joy and life, Bill and Audrey and I experienced raising Greta Magdalena from a baby into a young woman. All of us here were privileged to be part of that experience. There is no language adequate to express the infinite sorrow we share. Our tears will fill the universe's oceans seven times over. The shared experiences we had with Greta enriched our hearts and souls. She will be ever remembered in our aching hearts. She was one person who could have made a difference in this sometimes bleak and self obsessed shallow world. She already had. She touched every one of your hearts in a pure and permanent way. She has left us a legacy. We are charged with the responsibility of making this world a better place. We have an obligation to be the best that we can be - to our beloved and to ourselves, to everyone whose path we cross. To give love to all unconditionally. Our duty is to stay connected as humans even through these dark moments that can pervade our lives. We owe it to her to find the joy in our lives again when we can. And share it with everyone we can find. We have promise not just to live, but to contribute with whole hearts, to the experience of being part of humanity. It's all that matters in the end.
