Join MemoriesGraeme has left so many very happy memories with us in Cairns. Monday night dinners were a highlight with the family.
My eldest brother who did things his way . Invited all and sundry into his home, very generous and had strong views, which we didn’t always agree on . We will miss our many discussions /disagreements on all issues , but mainly our camping togethers . Love you always Dawn & Russell
Graeme you will forever be in our hearts. You were a great travel buddy, Shiraz and single malt enthusiast and a late night tennis critic. Work is another story, the engineering world has lost a great mind and mentor. Hope heaven is full of Lego.
Vale Graeme, you were brilliant in mechanical engineering and helped our company growth accordingly. You were also fun to go out with after work, fearless in your endevers 😁. I was privileged to know you.
So sorry to hear the sad news and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Deepest sympathy. We really appreciated the opportunity to catch up in January and remember he was a very special person.
Very sad to hear of Graeme's death. My condolences to his family and friends. Best wishes and stay healthy to all. Regards,
Worked with Graeme at MGF Consultants for a number of years. A kind, gentle man. We had a few laughs along the way. Condolences to his family and friends.
Looking forward to sending you off in style from the Cairns event. During your long time here you touched the personal and professional lives of many and in a good way. BMW and Apple will need to lay off staff with your passing.
Graeme was a a good man, and I say this with feeling. A good man and a true friend. And pretty good at staying upright on the most challenging rides too.
So many great memories Graeme. Between motorcycling around the country, putting up Xmas decorations, living it up with family and friends and enjoying a red around a campfire. You did it all. So happy to have had you as a mate.
Our sincere condolences to Lynda and Graeme's family & friends. We didn't know Graeme for very long. He & Lynda purchased our house in Lindenow. They took us out for dinner shortly afterwards. A very friendly & generous man.
We are forever grateful to you Graeme. So glad we took that leap of faith with you all those years ago. Looking back, we were never going to fall with you as a business partner. Our lives would be very different had it not been for you and the trust you put in us.
Graeme we will miss our cups of coffee on our veranda. Only know you & Linda for a short time ,but it seems like years.
Graeme was my first boyfriend at the age of 16. I remember the first Fiat car on Saturday night outings to the Pakenham and Cranbourne dances, he was very proud of it. I was happy to see that he excelled in his field and made many advances which helped people. My thoughts go to Dawn and Peter at this sad time.
Our condolences extended to the Standfield family following the loss of your brother and uncle our prayers are with you all. We still consider Standfields an intricate part of our Poowong North memories. Love to you all Laurie and Noel xx
Dear Lynda. It was a pleasure knowing both Graeme and you whilst we all lived at Nautilus in Cairns.
As described by others, Graeme was free with his time and advice to all and l certainly benefitted professionally from his generosity in this area. In more recent times l had re established a connection at a more personal level and lunched with him when he was well enough. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.
