Gene's legacy as a loving husband to Kathy, a caring father to Erik and Robin, and a doting grandfather to Kaila will be forever cherished and remembered. Throughout his life, Gene possessed a curious and adventurous spirit, always eager to explore new trends and ideas. His intellectual curiosity was an inspiration to those around him, whether engaging in spirited debates or pursuing his interests. Gene had a deep love for music, particularly Jazz and classical genres, which transported him to a world of harmony and expression. His appreciation for music brought solace and joy to his life and enriched the lives of others. Above all, Gene found his greatest happiness in his family. He treasured every moment spent with his beloved wife, Kathy, who was his constant companion and partner in life's journey. As a father, Gene embraced his role with unwavering love and devotion, nurturing and guiding Erik and Robin with care and wisdom. His presence brought warmth and sincerity to their lives, and the memories they shared will forever be a testament to his profound love. Gene was also a cherished son and sibling. He is survived by his mother, Ruth, his younger brother, Ronald, and his two sisters, Karen and Michelle. Gene valued the bond he shared with his family, extending beyond his immediate household.     Gene and I both spent our careers at Con Ed. Me, 46 years, then 5 more with the Union. My earliest memories of Gene were in the Labs at 708 First Ave in the early 70s.
