Melinda Stark Had a great time catching up after so many years not seeing Uncle Beau and Aunty Lan! At the Clearwater Mall in Johannesburg.
My memories of aunty Lan always include her almost cheeky sense of humour and generosity. She has gone to be with our Lord, no more tears, no more pain, just the endless beauty of beholding God's face. Aunty Lan, you will be missed.
What can be said about a lady who was so full of life, love and laughter. Aunty Lan, you nurtured our children, Garrith. Evan and Ronan, you brought meaning and purpose to the early years of their lives, you welcomed them into your home and made space for them in your busy life. Always encouraging, always guiding, always supporting everything they ...
To my Dearest Aunty Lan I have the fondest memories of you. You looked after and raised me from 6 weeks until the age of 5. You taught me how to swim, I will forever remember the phrase "Grab the apple" I still have it stuck in my head after all these years, and whenever I'm swimming I'm grabbing that apple 😂 All your meals, made with love.. my f...
Alida Dippenaar The first photo reminds me when this "plaasjapie" (farm girl) spent my holidays in Brixton. I couldn't speak English at all and we had a lot of fun. And then in Feb 2017 there was this wonderful opportunity when Beau and Lan visited me in Jeffreys Bay. And the last precious photo was taken in July this year only a few months ago. Years of wonderful precious memories. Will miss you Lan. Alida
