Senator JK MtaiyA Heartfelt Tribute to MC Emmanuel Kigen.
It breaks my heart to write these words… Emmanuel is no longer with us.
He wasn’t just a student—I saw in him something rare. A sedulous, assiduous soul, full of purpose and fire. He gave everything his all, whether it was his studies, his dreams, or simply showing up for others. He was charismatic in the most humble way, always carrying a euphoric joy that lit up every room—and every heart.
I still remember how passionately he spoke to me about farming when I was a staff member at Laikipia University. He almost convinced me to join him only that I was unable financially. To him, the soil wasn’t just soil—it was life, faith, and future. That was Emmanuel. He found beauty and purpose in everything.
His faith in God was unshakable. He didn’t need to shout it—it was in how he lived, how he loved, how he carried himself. He was resolute, grounded, and real.
You had a heart for missions. A heart that beat for people, for souls, for the call of God. Whether you were in class, in the field, or planning your next outreach, your life was your ministry. You carried the gospel not just in your words, but in your walk.
Losing him feels unreal. Painful. Unfair. But even in this grief, I know his light hasn't gone out. Emmanuel planted something eternal in all of us—hope, joy, faith, and the courage to live with purpose.
Rest in perfect peace, Emmanuel.
You were a gift.
And though you’re gone, your spirit lives on in every life you touched. It was a short race but mighty.
You're forever missed but you'll always be in our hearts bro..17th September, 2025

I know it is difficult to bear this great loss but I wish encourage you with the words of Jesus, John 16:33"...I have overcome the world"
Death will not hold Emmanuel! Jesus overcame it.
I only pray that the Lord will grant you peace, peace that passes all understanding to be able overcome grief and accept that such mystery cannot be understood by human standards. Let's encourage each other with Deuteronomy 29:29.
May the grace of the Lord comfort our hearts now and forever.

Alex smart Mudengani Today, I write with a heavy heart for my dear friend, brother, and business partner, Emmanuel Kigen. Your sudden departure has left an emptiness in Team Divine and in my own life that words cannot fill.
You were more than a leader — you were a light, a source of strength, and a true companion in every step we took together. The moments we shared in friendship, in building dreams, and in lifting each other will never fade from my memory.
This tragedy has shaken us deeply, yet your legacy of love, humility, and unity will live on in our hearts. Farewell, Emmanuel… until we meet again on that eternal shore.
With profound sorrow,

Anthony Koser1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NIV
[13] Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. [14] For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. [15] According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. [16] For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words.
