Ellis SILAS
In the First World War, Ellis SILAS volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Melbourne, Victoria aboard HMAT Ceramic on 22 December 1914. He was a member of the 16th Infantry Battalion. Ellis is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
