17 Feb 1929 - 14 Oct 2017MORTENSEN Maureen (nee Dines). 17-2-1929 ~ 14-10-2017. Maureen passed away on Saturday in Whakatane Hospital, surrounded by her loving family aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan. Much loved mother of Kay and David, Ross and Anne, Joanne and Phil, Robyn and Grant. Grandma to Jamie and Jo, Michael and Sonya, Shane and Sam, Kris, Anna, Neil, William and Suzie, Kylie and Grahame, Gemma and Kieran. Great grandma of Sophie and George, Ella and Sam, Miro, Cooper and Kera, Braxton and Oliver. A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held in the Anglican Methodist Church of St George and St John, 30 Domain Road Whakatane on Tuesday 17th October at 2pm followed by a private cremation.
