Dr. William Jackson "Jack" Newton

This space is to honor and remember Dr. Jack Newton: beloved husband, father, brother, musician, educator, and artisan. This page will give his family, friends, and former students a space to remember and cherish our time with him. We encourage everyone who can to leave stories, pictures, comments or recordings here to help his memory live on. Condolences may also be added as a "memory" with the current date. Jack lived a full life and passed peacefully in his home. As his soul departed, his wife and daughters sang him to heaven with choruses of "Oh When the Saints Go Marching In." Dr. Newton - Jack - Daddy - Poppop: We celebrate your passing to the next life with joy in our hearts! But there is sadness also as we feel the loss of your earthly presence. You were a comfort and shelter in a storm; Your love of family and your fellow man unwavering; Your humor disarming; Your faith absolute; and Your talents surpassed only by your generosity.
