Our beloved Doctor is one of the most affectionate persons with abundance of everything that I have seen. I am truly fortunate to not only met doctor but also learn a lot - I enjoyed many precious moments which I cherish dearly. I met Doctor when I was at Mahindra Satyam (now Tech Mahindra). He was a advisor to the team (Business Intelligence). Fra...

I had the pleasure of spending time with him in 2014 and 2019. In 2014, it was for my Patti's funeral and his thoughtfulness, perspective, and sharp wit struck me in an otherwise chaotic situation. His positive qualities will live on in his family, friends, and many, many students, who are now teachers themselves. While I never was formally a stude...

Neha Kumar We lost a bright light - my inquisitive, joyful, and compassionate grandfather. To the world he was the founder and head of the Computer Science department at IIT Chennai, a masterful professor, and accomplished researcher - his deep passion for learning and love of knowledge for knowledge’s sake was unparalleled. To me he was a loving single parent to my mom, my favorite shopping companion, lover of Shakespeare and philosophy, and #1 fan of french fries. Will celebrate your zest for life forever. Rest In Peace, thatha

Appa was not just my father, but mother, father, brother, sister, friend, teacher and even my foe at times all bundled into one. He was all that I had till my husband Jai came along. We did a lot of things together - laughing and giggling watching Laurel and Hardy movies, walking for miles just to drink Aavin milk, arguing a lot about religion and...

I was greatly shocked, ( like many of his friends, colleagues and even those who came into contact with him even for brief periods,) to hear the sad news of Prof.Nagarajan’s demise. Prof.Nagarajan was an intelligent teacher, a great guide to his scholars, a lovable person to his colleagues, a pleasant and kind person to those who worked under him...

Gomathi Subramaniam I have known mama for over 40 years. Meena and I are high school classmates. Mama was such an inspiring and amazing individual and I feel fortunate to have known him and met with him whenever I visited Chennai. He was so passionate and could relate to everyone whether they were his students, other youngsters or seniors. He will be dearly missed. He will live in our hearts forever.

I first met Nagarajan Mama in 1980 when his daughter Meena and I became classmates at Stella Maris College in Chennai. He was a brilliant and intelligent person, a well loved teacher and a lifelong learner but it was his kind heart and childlike innocence that touched me and everyone else who knew him. He was devoted to his daughter (Raji as he cal...

Prof. Nagarajan (Nagarajan mama) brings back fond memories. For years, he visited my late father (Dr. Sriraman Srinivasan) at home almost every evening. Their conversations moved from serious to the most hilarious discussions! He was my inspiration to study Computer Science. Many times, I used to bump into him on my way to college (Anna University)...
