Debbie Hajek

Debbie Jean Hajek, 65, passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2021 after living with cervical cancer for the last few years. Debbie - 'the Queen Bee' - was born on October 15th, 1955 in Chicago and grew up in the Gage Park neighborhood. Debbie and her husband of 38 years, Frank, have two grown sons - her boys. She had an early career working for Heller Seasonings, and a second career with Harper College where she spent 20 years. Debbie was a sweet and loving soul. She loved gardening and flowers, cooking, music, traveling, all Chicago sports teams (except the Cubs), but most of all - family. She would do anything for her family and was an incredibly caring and giving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma, and friend to all that knew her.
