Welcome. You are invited to share any thoughts, memories, prayers or pictures about our David. He was a son and stepson, a brother and stepbrother; and a dearly missed nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to so many... His profile picture was taken while he was still in high school, taken by our sister Elizabeth. The background picture is an idealized graphic he created called "Backyard". It shows the 'sand pits'. A place in Port Washington, N.Y., where we would explore growing up. It was part magical, and part dangerous. But it was always guaranteed to be an adventure. "Let's meet at the 'pits'", we'd say... And it was literally in our 'backyard'... It's incredible to imagine, but there he is in this picture - standing at the edge of the pits - just after a blizzard, gazing out at the winter wonderland before him, with Hempstead Harbor in the distance. And loyally following him is our family dog, Kiana! This is a beautifully accurate depiction direct from David's sublime imagination that perfectly represents a part of our childhood growing up together... RIP, my brother... Thank you all so much for sharing...and caring! - paul mcmanus - (The website couldn't fit the entire picture and so it will be posted below.)
