David Willis

David M Willis, 33, of Clive, Iowa, died Monday, July 20. He was born June 22, 1982, in Waterloo, Iowa, son of Mike and Joanne Willis. David graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2000 and Iowa State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. Following graduation, he began his career at John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa. He then moved on with Deere to positions at the Moline Seeding Group and Harvester Works before most recently joining John Deere ISG in Urbandale, Iowa. He was an avid sports fan, loved to travel, cook, and spend time with his dog, Abbie. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Joanne, sister, Marcia Erickson (Germantown, Wisconsin), brother-in-law, Tony Erickson, nephew and godson, Cullen Erickson, grandparents, John and Frances McGinn (Peoria, Illinois), five aunts, four uncles, and twelve cousins.
