Darryl Ernest Kuyer

Darryl set his sights high. He achieved so much in his short 57 years. He stayed in Katie Rose Cottage for just over a week. There he met many 'Angels, as he called them. He loved being there feeling safe and very much cared for. Darryl was determined to pass on the knowledge he learned about the place to his brother-in-law, Greg and asked Greg if he would get in touch with the Board members to help them wherever he could. Greg made him a promise that he would and he has carried out that promise. Katie Rose had to close just before Christmas 2015 due to lack of funds, We are praying that they will reopen again around mid-year 2016. Darryl made a generous donation to Katie Rose which will be a big help I am sure. His family decided to call for donations at his funeral and we would like to thank those who gave. You can be assured that your donation will help Katie Rose in the very near future to be up and running again. Many thanks from all of us.
