Family and friends
Daniel was a mischievous, gifted, beautiful young man. Like so many with depression, he was a blessing, light, and great friend and comforter to so many. Yet he could not find that comfort for himself. Daniel was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Falcon fan, and his journey to organ donation touched tens of thousands of people who followed his story.

Anne Gaither Daniel was my son's first best friend. He was so kind to Matt, as all the Dudgeons were. They played in the sandbox, slid down the neighbor's hill and played football all Summer long. My favorite memory of Daniel is when he came and rang the front doorbell, I assumed to play with Matt but Daniel, a little embarrassed, asked if I could throw the football with him. Although, we moved away long ago Daniel and the Dudgeon's influence on our lives is significant. We have always considered them family. Daniel was a wonderful young boy and I know young man.
Michael Dudgeon Halloween 2006 - Daniel was a huge Sponge Bob fan
Ishaan Bhasin Daniel is my best friend and brother forever. I'm so lucky that I have more than 14 years of memories with him. I got to watch him grow up, and throughout all the years I was able to notice how kind of a heart he had, and you could see it through his actions. He wanted the best for everyone, and was always looking out for me without me having to ask. He has been the source for so much joy and comfort in my life and I will always cherish our memories together. They are so important.

Lauren Cox Daniel has always been one of my best friends. We’ve been there for each other through some of life’s biggest moments including confirmation, prom, and our graduations. He was there when I needed to cry, laugh, and everything in between. I am a better person from knowing him. He brought smiles to everyone’s faces and kept us laughing all the time. Daniel has had such an incredible impact on me. I will cherish our countless memories forever, and I will miss him dearly.
Mara Lameyer I was a camp counselor at the TEAMeffort camp Daniel came to in Brunswick, GA in 2017. He was so kind, friendly, and hardworking. This is the camp video from that week. I'm praying for his friends and family!
Daniel was and always will be an inspiration to us all. His compassion and friendships influenced so many. May our memories of Daniel continue to be a celebration of his life.

Brant White This picture was from the music festival Music Midtown we went to fall of 2018. I was lucky enough to spend the best parts of high school with Dan. Going to Joint Venture Park to play football with all of our friends seemed like a daily occurrence senior year. Working together at Bruster’s during the closing shift were some of the best times as time would pass so fast having him around to talk about sports, school, and everything in between to distract us from the long line of customers. We both transferred to UGA last spring together and went through the weird transition to a brand new college together. I don’t know if I’ve shared any experiences with anyone before like Daniel, and I consider myself one of the luckiest people on Earth to have been his friend. I miss you more than ever Dan and I love you.

Daniel Huber This is a picture of Dan and I before going through high school graduation. I am so fortunate that I was able to call him a friend, as he was one of the most loyal, genuine, and caring people I’ve ever met. I’m gonna miss working out with you every day, going to UGA games, and talking/arguing for hours about fantasy football. Love you Dan, you will be forever missed.

Cameron Gonzalez Daniel always was making me laugh. I will never forget the sound of it. I have made so many memories with him, and none of it will be forgotten. I will never forget all of the hilarious arguments we had, or the deep conversations we'd have before going to sleep in our dorm. He was like a brother to me, and always will be.

Prayers for Lori, Mike, Matthew and Brandon during this time of grieving. We love you and we will always be there for you because we are family!
Daniel just a month before this tragedy bought $100 of stocks - he said he wanted to get into investing. When we checked his account they were up to $135. 35% - in one month. We always knew he had a knack for business.

Brian Dudgeon Daniel added SO MUCH to our family gatherings and he will be so deeply and intensely missed. He was particularly kind to our daughter who is 6 years younger and used to follow him around like a lost puppy. Our boys loved his athleticism and adventurous spirit. He made tubing at the lake a lot more fun. Words don’t do justice to how special he was and how much we will miss him We love you Daniel.
Josh Marshall I met Daniel on a mission trip in Newport, TN in 2014. In my years of youth ministry this will always be my favorite trip. Our church was always the “big group” at mission trip sites and the Tennessee trip we were out numbered by our Georgia friends. It was the first time we weren’t the biggest group. I will never forget the incredible growth and bonds that formed between our two youth groups. I will always remember Daniel as a kid with a big smile and bigger heart. Sending prayers to all of you

Cailyn Rushin
Cailyn Rushin There are so many awesome memories that I have from freshman year and Dan was in a majority of them. He was such an important part of our friend group. He always made us laugh, had the best comebacks, and was a listening ear if you ever needed to talk, no matter what time it was. I’ll never forget the impact he had on my life and in our friend group.
